First Women's Bank celebrates NGOs, Foundations & Universities

First Women’s Bank which is Founded, owned and led by women, is the only bank in Chicago that runs on the strategy to empower women business leaders and innovators. The bank has celebrated the nonprofits, foundations and universities in Chicagoland on May 20, 2024.

It had made the commitment to put their efforts in closing the gender lending gap. The bank’s sole focus is on the unique needs of the women’s economy because they themselves play a part in it.

Headquartered in Chicago, the bank has a company size of 11-50 employees along with 56 associated members. It was established in the year 2019 and has a sole strategic focus on the large, powerful and growing women's economy. According to their claim, they offer a modern, digital banking experience to connect small businesses with lending and banking solutions that has been wrapped in a consultative and high-touch experience.  

This celebration indicates that the bank is dedicated to its motive towards fostering an equivalent space for women and women working in the banking sector. It ensures that these women get what they want and get enough opportunities to promote gender equality and help create accessible financing for small businesses through a full suite of business and personal banking products.
