MaineCF to Provide Scholarships to Women Opting for Science, business Degrees

The Maine Community Foundation has announced the opening call for applications for the Lydia R. Laurendeau Scholarship Fund. Applications for the scholarship will be accepted till June 1. Founded in the year 2013, the Laurendeau Fund is known for providing renewable scholarship support to young females who are graduating seniors from high schools in Maine.

CPL collaborates with UN Women for WEPP

City Pharmacy Limited Group (CPL) has partnered with the United Nations (UN) for Women Empowerment Principles Program on March 25, 2024. CPL is Papua New Guinea’s first organisation to join hands with the UN. The agreement was signed by head of UN Women PNG office, Adekemi Ndieli alongside CEO of CPL, Navin Raju at the headquarters of CPL in Port Moresby.

Mental fitness dedicated performance lifestyle brand, Rhone has designated Tess Roering along with James Pitaro to its board of directors. Tess Roering is also an advisor at Ridgeline Ventures and a board member at Birch Medical Spa while James Pitaro is the ESPN chairman.

Canada's Federal Government announces Maia Inclusive Growth Project

Canada’s federal government has again come up with a new project on March 26, 2024, in order to aid and assist women entrepreneurs across the whole country. Rechie Valdez, the Minister of Small Business alongside Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec’s (RFAQ) president and CEO, Ruth Vachon declared the Maïa Inclusive Growth Project.

BasBlue Foundation awards $17500 to 3 Female Founders

During the celebration of Founders + Fund (Her)s Pitch Day on March 26, 2024, a non-profit organisation (NGO), BasBlue Foundation has granted $17,500 to 3 female founders. Having founded in 2021, the foundation’s main focus is to empower women and non-binary individuals.
