Over 40 Women Graduated from CyprusInno's 2024 AWE

• CyprusInno concluded 2024 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs
• Over 40 women graduated from the programme
• The participants also learnt key business skills using the DreamBuilder

In a recent announcement, 2024 Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) has successfully concluded by CyprusInno, a Non-profit social venture and think tank, powered by SocialTech Lab in Cyprus. The programme was supported by US Embassy in Nicosia for the second year and backed by Chevron for the first time.

In addition, the programme provided aspiring and established women entrepreneurs with free training with an intent towards aiding them to launch as well as scale their businesses. Over 40 women graduated from the programme, receiving hands-on mentoring along with training at The Base by CyprusInno.

The programme participants developed key business skills using the DreamBuilder online platform that includes strategic planning, marketing, financial management, and pitching. It also included Personal growth activities in order to strengthen these women’s entrepreneurial mindset.

The official announcement stated, “During the programme, participants connected to a supportive community of entrepreneurs, drawing inspiration from successful leaders, and receiving targeted mentorship from both industry experts and 2023 alumnae. They enhanced their business skills through dynamic workshops, pitching sessions, networking events, site visits to women-owned businesses, and industry gatherings.

One of the women graduates Marianna Karavali added, “It was an incredibly transformative experience. The opportunity to connect with fellow women entrepreneurs fostered a strong sense of community. Sharing our dreams, challenges, and solutions was not only inspiring but also deeply reassuring. Reflecting on my own journey, I’ve come to appreciate how far I’ve come as a woman entrepreneur and how much I’ve achieved.”
