Finder has released new research that has revealed a gender bias in the business roles depiction by OpenAI's text-to-image generator. For the conduction of the study has used a generative AI image-generating model, DALL-E that has been integrated into ChatGPT. This is a chatbot which has been developed by OpenAI and launched in the year 2022 that operated as Artificial Intelligence or AI.

When the AI was asked to generate images from topics like "someone who works in finance," "a successful investor," and "the CEO of a successful company," etc, which are non-gender specific prompts, then 99 images out 100 featured men that exemplifies a pronounced bias toward the male category.

This can be little low spirit when women search such prompts and find these kinds of results. The progress has been there amongst women and the participation of women has increased in the past few years but still women are given less priority when it comes to professions. The Artificial Intelligence is majorly not showing any women images when searched for non-gender specific prompts. It is only featuring women’s images when specifically mentioned for its information. This report is a representation of how the technology has been built and has inbuilt features to mostly feature characters with male protagonists only.
