The premier flour-milling and ingredient company, Ardent Mills has made an announcement on the appointment of Sheryl Wallace as its new chief executive officer by the board of directors.

Her tenure shall start from July 8, 2024. This transition in the firm took place due to the retirement of Ardent Mills’ current CEO, Dan Dye in April.

Since 2020, she has been a part of the Ardent Mills as the board and now acquired a new position. In addition, Sheryl holds almost 3 decades of experience as she has been working with Cargill for last 28 years now and holds the position of President of U.S. origination and grain currently.

She has also served as a Foundation Trustee at National Grain and Feed Association’s (NGFA) Board and Executive Committee in order to support the industry.

Dave Marberger, the board member of Ardent Mills said, “Sheryl’s unwavering dedication to Ardent Mills’ core values – trust, serving, simplicity, and safety – has been clear throughout her tenure on the Ardent Mills Board. Her exceptional ability to cultivate a culture of empowerment and drive innovative growth uniquely positions her to lead Ardent Mills into its next chapter. Sheryl’s track record in the agribusiness sector, combined with her ability to foster strong relationships, will inspire teams and enhance partnerships with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders.”
