The Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), in conjunction with the AFD Group and the European Union, launched the MEET Africa 2 program, which focuses on increasing the presence of female entrepreneurs, particularly in the Moroccan diaspora. The collaborative effort culminated in a session titled "MEET Her: Entrepreneurial Flight of Moroccan Women Worldwide" conducted on December 19, 2023, at the CGEM offices in Casablanca.

The session, organized around core themes and panels, focused on educating female entrepreneurs about navigating the business environment, investigating funding options for a successful future, and highlighting networks and success relays for entrepreneurs. Panelists participated in talks aimed at better integrating the needs and views of women entrepreneurs from the diaspora.

The event, which drew over a hundred people and representatives from roughly twenty national and international agencies, highlighted three success stories of female entrepreneurs. These entrepreneurs provided insights regarding their entrepreneurial paths, which ranged from starting businesses in Morocco to funding techniques, product/service development, and business expansion.

Mrs. Fatima Boussalla, Vice-President of the Moroccan Entrepreneurs of the World (MeM) region by CGEM, expressed excitement about the event, noting, "the MEET is very important." Her event in Morocco exemplifies our desire to establish Morocco as a key backer of Moroccan businesses in the diaspora." She stressed the organization's objective to organize the diaspora for job development and significant national value contribution. MEET Africa 2 represents a shared commitment to promoting business and economic progress in the dual Africa-Europe arena.
